The following are the preliminary details/targets as established by the CHWMEG Board of Directors for the 2012 Facility Review Program, effective: 3 Jun 2011

CHWMEG 2012 Facility Review Program Details:

Requirements for Facilities to be Included in the Commitment Phase:

  • North American facilities: 3 or more member nominations (and those never before reviewed receiving exactly 2 noms)
  • non-North American facilities: 2 or more member nominations

"Shared-cost" pricing per member for commitment-listed facilities receiving two or more commitments:

  • North American facilities: $800. - will remain available to members post commitment phase for $1,100.
  • non-North American facilities: $1,300. - will remain available to members post commitment phase for $2,400.

"Sole Sponsor" (SS) addition pricing (not to exceed - NTE*) per member for 2012 FRP additions:

  1. SS additions during the commitment phase (NTE process):

  • North American facilities: NTE $2,500.
  • non-North American facilities: NTE $3,500.

  2. Members can "opt-in" for flat pricing of SS additions during the commitment phase, as follows:

  • $2,000. per SS "opt-in" addition (member must specify which SS additions are to be included in "opt-in" opportunity

  • Requires minimum of 5 and maximum of 40 SS additions per member

  • ALL SS requirements must be fulfilled and SS additions submitted online before the commitment phase closes

  • Overall maximum of 250 SS additions for the 2012 FRP...member SS additions supported on a first-come, first-served basis

  • For "Opt-in" SS additions, member waives all SS credit opportunity, and the possibility that review defers to shared-cost (additional member commitments received upon announcement of addition)

  3. SS additions *subsequent* to the commitment phase (NTE process) through 3 Aug 2012:

  • North American facilities: NTE $3,400.
  • non-North American facilities: NTE $4,500.

*NTE: if one or more additional member commitments to SS added facilities are received, the initiating member's cost will also defer to the "shared-cost" price (as noted above); if no other member commitments are received, the SS initiating member's invoice is for the NTE amount, and that member receives SS credits back for any subsequent member purchases of the report**

SS credit notes:

  1. SS credits can be accumulated until the member's net outlay is equal to the 2012 FRP "shared-cost" pricing;
  2. SS credits have zero cash value;
  3. SS credit status is reported to the member in their online STATEMENTS page;
  4. SS credits expire one year after the report is no longer distributed by CHWMEG

  • Dec 2, 2011: “Fair Share” and Initial SS Commitments Due!
  • NLT Dec 9, 2011: BOD Review 2012 List, Bundling, and Direct to Proceed with Contractor Meeting & Bid Requests
  • NLT Dec 16, 2011: Contractor Pre-Bid Meeting Held via Webinar
  • NLT Dec 16, 2011: Request for Bids Distributed to Contractors
  • Jan 6, 2012: Contractor Bids Due!
  • NLT Jan 9, 2012: Announce Call for Commitments for the Initial SS Additions
  • Jan 13, 2012: BOD Reviews Bids to Determine 2012 FRP (Contractor Awards)
  • Jan 16, 2012: Contractors Notified of 2012 FRP Awards & Authorized to Proceed
  • NLT Jan 20, 2012: CHWMEG Notification Letters Sent to Facilities
  • Jan 30, 2012: Member “Fair Share” Commitments Due for the Initial 2012 FRP SS Additions ‡
  • NLT Jan 31, 2012: Initial “Fair Share” Commitment Invoices to be Distributed
  • NLT Jan 31, 2012: Invoices for Initial SS Additions and Additional Commitments to Be Distributed
  • Ongoing 2012: Accepting Additional SS Addition Requests for the 2012 FRP
  • Aug 3, 2012: Last Day for SS Additions for the 2012 FRP
  • Aug 24, 2012: Commitment Deadline for Final 2012 FRP Additions
  • Aug 27, 2012: Begin Nomination Phase for the 2013 FRP

‡ CHWMEG BOD Policy: all 2012 FRP commitment invoices must be paid in full by the member before any of those completed reports can be conveyed to the member
