| Description of Services: |  The main operations of Hejia Veolia include: - Incineration: The facility has a rotary kiln, installed in 2002, with design capacity of about 45 tonnes per day.
- Landfill: The landfill occupies a land area of about 12,500-m2. A new landfill cell is to be constructed with land area of about 11,700-m2. Total planned volumes of the landfill site are about 114,000-m3.
- Drum washing: The facility receives used drums and containers, which are washed onsite using washing solutions. Washed drums or containers are sold to offsite facilities in Tianjin for further treatment and recycling. Annual throughput is about 135,000 pieces.
- Solvent recovery: Waste solvents are collected from a few generators in Tianjin. Through distillation processes, the waste solvents are recovered and sold back to generators. The annual capacity is about 1,800 tonnes.
- PCT: The facility has a PCT workshop/process to treat inorganic liquid wastes via precipitation and flocculation. After treatment, the liquids are sent to the onsite wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) for treatment. Annual treatment capacity of the PCT process is about 7,000 tonnes.
- Medical waste autoclaving: Medical wastes generated in Tianjin City are collected and autoclaved using steam or microwave processes, with annual treatment capacity of about 7,000 tonnes.
