| Description of Services: | The facility in comprises several different operations, including: 1) Non-Ferrous metal recycling of spent catalysts, electroplating residues/slurries, etc.; 2) Specialty chemical production (including nickel, cobalt, copper, and iron compounds); 3) Non-ferrous metal trade of scraps and concentrates; 4) Alloy smelting of ingots (primarily nickel); and 5) Transformer (non-PCB) dismantling and subsequent dismantling and metal trade/smelting. Only the recycling portion of the operation was subject to the CHWMEG audit. Within the recycling operation, the facility produces non-ferrous metal concentrates out of spent catalysts, electroplating slurries, and residues. The facility also recycles spent catalysts from the petrochemical industries, chemical industries, and from edible oil hydrogenation. |
