Description of Services:Qingdao New World currently operates several waste handling or treatment units:
  • Incineration of medical and hazardous wastes in a fluidized bed incinerator
  • Non-hazardous industrial waste landfill for the disposal of incinerator slag, as well as sewage sludge, and other non-hazardous industrial wastes that are not appropriate for incineration or other treatment/disposal means.
  • Hazardous waste storage
  • Electronic waste dismantling as part of a pilot project. To date, various types of consumer electronics and appliances have been dismantled into their primary components, and these materials have been segregated for future recycling opportunities. Certain components with limited recycle potential are also incinerated.
