Description of Services:The principal operations onsite include incineration of nonhazardous domestic wastes and some industrial wastes; additionally, power is generated using heat released from incineration. The wastes are primarily received via dump truck or city garbage truck and are transferred into a waste storage area in the main operations building. The storage period in the waste storage area is generally 2 days in summer and 3-4 days in winter. The heat generated during incineration process is used as power to produce steam by boilers and the steam is fed to gas turbine unit for power generation. The main residue from incineration of domestic waste is slag.
