Description of Services:The NWO facility is primarily a waste oil processing facility, but other operations conducted at the site include wastewater treatment for liquid hazardous wastes, chemical fixation and stabilization (CFS) for both solid and liquid hazardous wastes, waste consolidation, storage, and off-site transfer for various hazardous wastes that cannot be treated on-site (flammables, pesticides, batteries, etc.). The primary waste streams received were bulk waste oil and oily waters. The remainder of wastes received included corrosives, pesticides, heavy metal wastes, and other miscellaneous drum wastes.
